The Family Y Thanksgiving 5k

Presented by Rapid Running Event Management

Where: Fairbanks Park/Terre Haute Family Y, Terre Haute Indiana

When: November 25, 2010 5k Run/Walk begins at 8AM

Cost: 5k Run or Walk will cost $20 with a long-sleeve t-shirt and $15 without a t-shirt

Day of cost: $25 with a long-sleeve t-shirt and $20 without.(quantities may be limited day of)

Under 15 cost is $10 pre-registration and $15 dollars the day of the event

**There will be a $2 discount for members of the Family Y.

Register Thanksgiving at The Family Y from 6:30AM-7:45AM

Packet Pick-Up: Will be November 24th at the Family Y from 6PM-8PM and also from 6:30AM-7:45AM November 25, 2010.

Course: The course is mainly  flat and fast, with one hill every lap. This is a two lap 5k race which will encompass Fairbanks Park.

Prizes and Giveaways: With participating in this event you will receive a long-sleeve t-shirt(if you buy it), an incredible thropy if you place in your age group, snacks, drinks, free items from our event sponsors, and a three day free membership trial for non-Y members.

The following are the categories in both the women and men division for the running race: 

13 and under 14-18, 19-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55 & older.

**1st Place Overall Male and Female Winners will receive a six-month free membership to the Family Y.

All proceeds of this event will benefit The Family Y scholarship program, which provides free membership to underprivileged individuals in the Wabsh Valley community.

 Drop Bags: Participants can put all of their belongings in a drop bag to drop at the start line and be picked up after a participant finishes at the Family Y.
